Said hello to a few faces, spoke to an EXTREMELY drunken DJ Cemtex who doesn't recall talking to me at all then headed round the corner to the Rainbow for Barry.
Here's a reminder for Cem, Hold tight Ian pointing out where the camera is... sadly Cemtex still didn't get it.

So arriving at the Rainbow at just after twelve it was already rammed, a free shot of Sambuca from Macca on the door was a nice touch then it was a beer then straight into action!
A night of total vibes, everyone was out to have a good time. Plenty of grime, garage, bashment and drum n bass classics through out the night.
The skanking on the stage at the back to some classic drum n bass brought back memories as did many of the grime classics. An impressive karaoke effort on my belalf for "Wiley - What you call it" down Travs ear.. I think the drink was having it's effect by that point though.
With the rain trying to put a dampner on the evening by leaking through the roof, measures were put in place. I mean a big golfing umbrella came out to cover the mixer and decks. I think everyone took their turn in holding it, large up greg for the one handed umbrella mixing though.
Time seemed to fly as it was three o'clock already and Scott was playing the last tune of the evening. Another epic installment from the Barry boys, it might have been billed as "a low key event" but the atmosphere inside was definitely next level.
Huge shouts to the Barry crew, Blaise upon her birthday, Jon "Hulk Hogan" Bissel, Gregory, and the Umbrella.

Popped round to Rooties on the way out, vibes still inside as Stanza was finishing up. Tommy Be stepped pon deckle again and came with even more quality. Great to see all the regular dnb heads in one rave for the first time in ages!
