This is the worlds fastest aspherical lens, giving you an extremely shallow depth of field and incredible low light capability. Coming in at a reasonable £6290, shallow depth of field right? but you need deep pockets to afford one!

Due for release in February next year, check out the full info on DPreview
My birthday is in March anyone care to buy me one?
you are not gonna need that unless you are shoting in large format because there is no sensor on planet earth that is gonna be capable of gathering as much light as large format, maybe a full frame DSLR but even then you wot be able to use a leica lens on anything unless its a leica, tell you wot tho, Canon released a F.1 lens not too long ago but it got discontinued because when you get so much lightcomming through its hard to control because of the endless opportunity and etc etc...
ReplyDeleteBig post though!! something I can rant about, its a shame nikon dont have anything bellow 1.8 on the 50mm
blessssss
Nikon have the 1.4 50mm...

damn, i never knew nikon had that uno! It must have been overshadowed by the Canon 50mm L f1.2 my bad. I was saying you wont be able to ue t propperly because with a lens like that you need to be working with atleast 35mm equivalent or large format, the f1 is not something you can pull out in a concert, u agree with me when is say thats a straight up studio photography flex and even then you use artificial lighting to the max!
ReplyDeleteyes witts.
ReplyDeleteeveryone should head to large format.
everyone should also shit £.
as leica has speeds of upto 8000th f0.95 would not be a problem at all.

Anyhoo, im not a fan of Leica, if i was to spend cash on large format it would be Hasselblad, Now thats Superior Quality geez, Leica is just overpriced because of Heritage! Ask any Photographic specialist and they would say olympus was next in line so go and read a book fam!
standard Blad!
