Modern Toss/Kickers

On my search for some decent Kickers it looks as though they have been busy working on collaborations and reading my mind. Do you ever look at a pair of Red Wings 8131's and think 'too bulky'? Well I do and it seems that if your not tall or (like some of you out there) you have feet bigger than a size 8 then your basically screwing.....your feet are going to be looking huge. So up come Kickers with a nice Kick-Hi, which to me looks like a slimmed down Red Wing. I present to you a shoe that was begging to be born!

The collaboration is between Kickers and Modern Toss. More about this project can be read below the trailer.

Meet The Bandits Coming Soon..

'Kickers are pleased to announce the launch of a new series of animated short films in association with Modern Toss. Continuing the brand’s rebellious tradition, Kickers are partnering with writers Mick Bunnage and Jon Link, to create a suite of cartoons, all in the pair’s crude and utterly hilarious style.

Modern Toss have developed 3 strands of film themes which will appear as short skits in each of the 3 episodes that make up the Kickers presents Random Bandits series. The series’ 3 strands include Shoe Horn – a footwear obsessed shopper, Dave Beeline – a rowdy driver who pointblank refuses to accept the existence of any places not recognised by his sat nav, and Flytalk – the celebrity-gossiping insects. The latter will star Slough office goon and Hollywood swashbuckler Mackenzie Crook who has long been involved with the Modern Toss camp.'

  9. Kickers Kick Hi have been around since 1975 for 2 good reasons....they look cool as fuck and they're made well. It's got nothing to do with anyone trying to "look different"....it's about certain people knowing a good thing when they see it, and the haters who couldn't pull the look off being jealous about them.
