  22. Thats right mate, you come down and laugh at us. You laugh whilst we actually do something with our lives, and yours passes you by in your bedroom.

How can you even begin to hate on such a posotive thing happening in London?

    do something mate.

  23. lol tan thinks any1 cares about all caps, noone even knws wat it is, the only ppl buyin it on the day is gonna be yo bntl chums

    ReplyDelete
  24. and here anon above makes a blunder, because all caps is not tans brand.

    ReplyDelete
  25. You lot are silly.. it's being held in a NIKE SPACE, think of the passing trade of like minded individuals. Don't worry about how well it will sell.

    ReplyDelete
  26. You write in capslock and you cant spell. If its people like you not buying things that is only a good thing, trust me.

    ReplyDelete
  27. yeah..

    streetwear?

get out there and actually do something that is remotely 'street'.

tan you are from some distant land where the language is different therefore i will forgive you for your obvious spelling mistakes.

Learn to skate or do something that actually makes you lot credible for the title of 'street'.

    Wankers! you're not really real!

    ReplyDelete
  28. haha you bozo.

    ReplyDelete
  29. "street wear is not dead, its on reset" does that even make sense? even if it does its the battiest slogan ever. looing forwrd to the event itself tho

    ReplyDelete
  30. The Devoted is the only 'credible' brand on the list, but good look to everybody i say!

They work with photographer Neal Bedford, stock in The Hideout and have been featured in i_D....looking forward to seeing there new stuff.

  36. cue the attempt from anon or uk sit down that what fly on the wall has said is somehow wrong.

    although it is clearly not.

fucking anon haters think they are always right.

theres a lotof talent coming from the uk now, some alot better than what japan and us are churning out.

just my opinion but i think TMP should have featured as well.

    ReplyDelete
  37. thats for the anon above.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Mate you should get a name, i have one, it gets me countless gash and beg spuds from queer fanboys like you.

    ReplyDelete
  39. @ JAIME

    JAPAN?

    (no comparison mate)

    O PLEASE

thats all i have to say!

u must be smoking a crack pipe!

i bet u have never even seen a japanese person b4!

u most probably one of them dudes that mistakens a chinese person for a japenese person!

    ReplyDelete
  40. its an easy term to use, i hate putting things in boxes as much as the next person.

but from the people i know in these brands, the ones i know of are not pretending.
all the designs reflect something about them, whether it be what they are interested in, have grown up on or what the believe in.

if you knew them at all, you would realise, they are really not pretending anything!

  43. 2 comments from tmp i am asuming.
did you get left out guys? feeling a bit raw about it? your brand is cool though. but your beggin it hard with these comments

    ReplyDelete
  44. This is typical uk mentality everybody is a critic, all those negative comments are waste.
Dont talk about it be about it.

    ReplyDelete
  45. true that kimbo. Really sick idea, it's good to see so many brands pulling together and finally doing something positive in London.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Cassette Playa/P C williams/Curren$y are streetwear???

Thats false advertising, trading standards will have you up on that one.

Maybe people are overly critical in the UK because everyone is consistantly mis-branding themselves or marketing themselves as something they are DEFINATELY not and dont have the background to be able to credibly brand themselves as.

Your eating off other peoples plates and cultures and its a wrong doing.

I like some of the brands at this event but why isnt the event marketed as "screen print tee-shirt" trade show? As thats MUCH more accurate than portraying these brands as any kind of "Streetwear" establishment.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Had a look at all the lines have you don? Why market it as a screen print t shirt event when over half the labels are selling cut and sew? Stop barking on the net and just come and have a look, its gonna be a good weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I dont think i have an answer, I DO have an answer, you no name speng.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Don i take my hat off to you Sir!

although i believe you should have mentioned more brands in your examination of the event!

    Also

    "screen print tshirt " event
would be farfethced as im sure even brands like stussy create scren printed garments irrespective of the cut and sew based garments that they make.

I PERSONALLY THINK ALL THE BRANDS IN THIS EVENT ARE SWAG!

they should call the even DOO DOO

    ReplyDelete
  50. Sorry it should be labelled - "Screen printed tees and crews".

Only two brands on the list of 13 make anything else.

Its not a lie, just an obervation.

Its pointless becuase the event will go on marketing its self as pushing 'streetwear' and wrongly portratying the brands it carries.
I think in the long run you will find this to be counter-productive as brands that have minimal appeal amoungst the streetwear audience will become pigeon-holed and limit their audience accordingly.

Im not moaning for the sake of it like most of these anons, i have worked in the clothing industry for years and thought my insight would be of some relevance and value.

    ReplyDelete
  51. So Don seeing as you know so much about street wear

    please define it!

As i believe that street wear transcends from a suburban unerdround movement and i can name at least 5 brands within this group that i have personally seen grow year on year, whilst maintainning a credible level of consistency !

    ReplyDelete
  52. Looks like this event is the first step of bringing uk brands from all sphere's together,it cant be a bad thing.
    Anon's get a life.
