Teens' Speech Launch
The Teens' Speech is a project that aims to allow teenagers to tell the nation how it really is. Similar to what the Queen does on Christmas Day but instead its coming from the mouths of the future. What i've been up to for the past few weeks is help set up several online sites that will enable teenagers from all over the country to upload video's of their own speech to the nation. The speech will be on anything from poverty, money to community and sex. The result of all the video's will be a 7 minute film which will be shown on the homepage of Myspace and also on Youtube on Christmas day.
Today the project launched and you can follow the journey on each of our several sites. As an introduction to the project we have also put together this short trailer giving you a taster of what's to come.
This project is ongoing until Christmas and we're looking for involvement from all teens in the UK. It's not just about uploading video's there will be weekly debates where you get to share your points of view.
