Hip Hop Cafe - Recipe Book

HHClogo_v7a_nods

Something to keep your eyes peeled out for later this year is my good friend Peter's brand new book titled "Hip Hop Cafe" which is essentially, a themed recipe book where the names of the recipes are hip hop themed puns.
For example, one of my favourite starters is the “Wu-Tang Clam Chowder” and one of the mains is “The Run D M Sea Bass with a Lethal Drizzle”. You probably get the idea.
The images for each recipes are still being built, and contributions of designs and illustrations for each illustration is welcome at this moment in time.

So if your a designer / illustrator and want more information on how to contribute to the visual side of the book just check out the website by just a (click)

Reebok X R+I Creative

I been bashing Reebok a little lately with all there new dealings but i must give props where its due. Now they've got the good folk over at
R+I Creative involved in some of there online content. It's a step in the right direction if you ask me. I'm sincerely anticipating what they have up there sleeves for Reebok rebirth.

Top 5 producers to keep an eye on at the moment and why

Aside from the people I work with, producers to look out for:

Faze Miyake
Burgaboy
Preditah
Bassboy
Splurt

They are all making shit I can play in the clubs, which has been lacking for years. I wouldnt rule out a Butterz release for one of them in the future if they keep the levels high.

Top 5 cities you've played in

London will always be the top city. Those nights we did at East Village we did for free are some of my most enjoyable Djing experiences even though it wasnt very exotic. It was just really honest. People coming out midweek in the cold to listen to grime. No musical tourists. Just enthusiasts. Vibes.

I went to Scotland 4 times last year and they are on it, especially in Glasgow. Really up for a party.

If you are talking overseas anytime ive been to Holland its been a vibe, im taking the label to Amsterdam for the biggest dubstep night out there 'Oi' in October which will be sick. Cable is the new home, hopefully we will put our stamp on it in August.

Out digitally on 15th August

Some of the stuff the french team comes up with is just to special. They've created a temporary installation mixing models, clothes, and a bicycle. Highlighting the monochromatic aspect of the World Champion range by Le Coq Sportif, by playing with perspective and perception.

Paris/Nice

Headed out to Paris on Friday gone to link up with some old friends and check out the PXA Pigalle x BKRW Basketball tournament and party. The weather put a stop to the tournament (which sucked) but it gave me time to shop and the party still went ahead...
