JIMI AGAINST DRUG DRIVERS!

'London graffiti artists Jimi Crayon and Stika’s new Art collective are supporting the national THINK! drug drive campaign with a massive artwork in Shoreditch. The wall, part of the Village Underground events space, is approximately 16.5 metres long by eight metres high and is just off Great Eastern Street. A known hotspot for art, the graffiti features three prominent eyes and is a striking visual representation of the involuntary effects that cocaine, cannabis and ecstasy have on the eyes. The message ‘drug driving is it worth it?’ and ‘your eyes will give you away’ aims to create a talking point about the issue by reminding passersby that police are able to spot the signs with some trained to check the pupils as part of the field impairment assessment.'

How ironic, that only 2 posts down you are posting worthless photographs of you smoking drugs and then in the same vain you are promoting your friends anti drug work.

They're promoting his ARTWORK not the message the GOVERNMENT contracted him out to convey.

Yeah you dick head.
Plus is there any flicks of people driving while under influence?Didn't think so.

Read the post before you comment.

no disrespect to jimi, but the government is bare waste, "we need to get the kids off drug driving"
"i know! let's use urban street art"
most people will walk past that wall and just notice the word CANNABIS, being as it is kinda the focal point, text-wise any way, of the whole wall, and not think twice about it's intended message.

^ That why a viral video was made of the process and production of the wall, to then be distributed across the internet in relevant locations.

Thus gaining attention from the target audience of 17 - 30 year olds, therefore conveying the message in a unique and creative way.

I dont know about this lot. but jimi and them guys definatly dont live with there parents, and 6 - 12k a job is not bad money when you are 25 years old.

I think Jimi and Stika look really 'fly' in that photo. Good message too, if someone hit my friend, girlfriend, mom, brother whilst drug/drink driving i'd be pissed. Ha all i know is no one else paints that big and neat.

yo mr 13:52 can you give us a top 5 crimes you have committed...

note: stealing coins from mums purse don't count

Hang on, by saying 'Art Fag' then saying real crimes. I asume your saying Illegal graff is a 'real crime' compared to being an 'Artfag"?

I know enough real criminals who laugh at me daily for breaking into places only to not steal anything or make money, but to instead risk pen to leave my name painted big in pretty colours on trains and tracks.
If your a real criminal why are you sitting at home commenting on a post about pretty pictures?

Nah, your alright Tan. You're gonna have to find someone else to cover your paper round if your away.

Anonymous said...

Have you met Tan?

Anonymous said...

yeah i see him all the time being driven by his moms on his paper round. I saw him on his bike doing it once but it's a big bag for a wee man.

Don't no why people ended up hating on the blog itself (which is interesting enough), or talking about how much dough they make. Who gives a fuck about how much dough you make boy! Go and work in the city if you're up for making paper.
The 'art' is gay. Simple. Doing a piece for the government about drug driving is a little bit off. And blogging about it is a bit off key.
But whatevz.
The hating thing is interesting though.
Why are people hating.
Cos its not just about success is it?
Or the way you roll with that percieved success.

you guys that come on here and chat shit about who has how much money and whos mum does what for them are bare gay! u think the fact you take shots at people you don't know, anonymously from the warm safety of your bedroom, encourages anyone to believe that you're a hardened criminal from the streets?
