Thursday night was the first (thirst) Thursday of the month and you know what that means....galleries from all over London opened their doors and invited in the people to view new works and indulge in the free alcohol. This particular Thursday was hectic, so many good exhibitions were on at the same time. My choices were Wish You Were Here and then the opening of Chapter 1 both taking place in Soho.
Wish You Were Here is a project where legendary neighbourhoods swap places to share their offerings to different cultures. For this one 30 boutiques and artists from New York's Lower East Side were showing their work in Carnaby's Newborough Quarter. I was most interested in seeing work from the main girl Shaniqwa Jarvis...
Shaniqwa Jarvis
Joey Gallagher
Peter Sutherland
Vashtie Kola
Angelo Baque (Art and Marketing Director for Supreme)
Jason Oliver Goodman
Its definitely worth checking out, find all information >>>HERE<<<
