Triple Stabbing on the Old Kent Road...
http://www.london-se1.co.uk/news/view/3039
Police step up Old Kent Road patrols after triple stabbing
Thursday 29 November 2007
Extra police patrols will be put in place in the Old Kent Road area as police continue to appeal for witnesses to an altercation on Wednesday afternoon that left three youths suffering stab wounds.
Southwark detectives have renewed their appeal for members of the public who were in the Old Kent Road at about 4.30pm on Wednesday 28 November to contact them with any information they may have about the incident.
Officers were called at approximately 4.40pm to reports of three youths suffering stab wounds.
The three males, all aged 16, were taken to separate London hospitals.
One victim is in a stable condition with a head injury, one is in a stable condition with a punctured lung and the other who suffered minor injuries has now been discharged.
It is believed the three youths were involved in an altercation with a group of black males and enquiries continue into the motive behind the attack. A weapon has been recovered.
"There would have been a large number of commuters making their way home at this time who may have witnessed this incident," says DI Bernie Galopin of Southwark CID.
"I would urge anyone with information to contact myself or DS Adrian Brown on 020 7232 6145 or if you would prefer to remain anonymous please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
Home sweet home.

Busta claims these are all beats that dilla left him on a CD posthumously . Dilla felt that busta was the right man for the job and the rest is history. AND DOES IT EVER BANG HOLY FUCK. Busta also describes why dillas beats sound as rough as they usually do (which i have no complaints about bein the tape junkie that ive been). Dillas mom sounds cool as hell btw. Enjoy.

Oh my....
rumour has it that soulja boy has never been and has no intention of joinin the army, who would have knew.
On another note i'd like to thank Hoxton's hipsters for bringing plimsolls to the manor. Having said that there have been a number of complaints about the "trendy" shoes as it causes the bottom of your tracksuit to fray.Leaving hoodrats
Yesterday...
Met Kevin (Whoresneverlearn), belatedly, at around 2 in the PM to journey around London, visiting "the spots" taking pictures... starting, as always, in South..
..then, central-bound..
Met Kesi & her friend Nadira soon after in the RBK shop... Nadira had to run off and see to some politically charged affairs (apparently), so the rest of us reached the Montague Pike near Tottenham Court Road and conversed without pause until it was dinner time in E&C..
'Twas a great day.
In closing, big up to Kesh for her article in RWD magazine... "doing alot".

Christmas In The Hood..
'Twas the month before Christmas...
On a Sunday night, South London does not stop...
I'm not sure why this one 'kicked off' but the video starts with a couple of guys grabbing and pushing this one guy, and eventually releaving him of his jacket.. then a next man comes from the shadows and hits one of the coat comandeerers over the head with a glass bottle.. witness;
Excuse that watermark thing.
And to think, I didn't manage to record saturday nights antics, about 6-7 goonbags and a dog, on one suited gentleman.. that was brutal. Anyway, the result is.. I'm never going out again on the weekend, gonna stay in and record the goings on across the seat, because they are always up to something.
Anyway, I chose to accompany the above video with the video below. Enjoy

Quite simply, GARGANTUAN IN THE GAME.
Outkast feat. Marsha Ambrosious (of Floetry)- The Art of Storytelling Part 4
Andre 3000, as an emcee, stuns my senses every goddamn time (riveting vocals, delivery, wordplay, lyrical imagery). Big Boi brings the brilliance too. The beat's a certified anthem. Gauranteed one of my favourite songs of the year. Play till the sub-woofer shakes your soul and you too can attain my level of current euphoria.
*Two Nivea-enriched thumbs up*
If they don't bump this rousing rap aria in the clubs (referring to our usual 'trendy' haunts complete with a distinguishable minority of pretentious bandwagonista*** pricks/prickettes despondant of genuine musical enthusiasm), then someone's gonna have to resort to impaling suckah DJs with their own stylus.
"She said, why in the clubs you don't make it precipitate, you know, make it rain when you could make a thunderstorm, I'm like why, the world needs sun..."- Andre 3000
A seasonal audio-good-will gesture: FEEL the music or get chopped up and stuffed inside a fluffy Christmas stocking for your nephews and nieces to find on Yuletide morrow.
***Freshly coined for you fuckers, you know who you are; it takes more than pics of retro kicks & 80s Jamel Shabazz photographs you found in google images to plaster on your skank social networking profiles. Passion is paramount.
Death to Hip-Hop Charlatans.
P.S. I look forward to seeing my real heads down at Mos Def's more intimate gig @ Islington Academy on Sunday. Rumour has it from accounts of last night's Shepherd's Bush show that Mighty Mos will be dropping fresh MADLIB PRODUCED MATERIAL (including a joint called Auditorium) from his forthcoming LP allegedly titled The Ecstatic... I'm forewarning you- wear padding and hold onto your girl tight.

Kanye last night..
That fucking mag cost me £10 and it doesn't even have any writing! I don't know what I was thinking at the time.
Now I'm in a better frame of mind to talk about last nights actions.. here's how it went down - it was supposd to start at 6:30 but boy, certain crew members were running on Nigerian time, didn't get any music till about 7:40 and that was from Estelle (she was supporting).. Kinda got the crowd going... (note to all other supporting acts never ask the crowd directly whether you can sing them one more tune, Estelle found out that one the hard way.)
After Common came on, it was decent set I especially loved it when he did 'The Light'.. I went into crazy mode at his cover of Nas' 'NY state Of Mind' then changing it mid-way through to London state of mind had me thinking 'what the fuck!? naaaaaah none of that!!!' very good job though.
Then around 9:30 something, the main man Kanye West came out.. everyone was on their feet without fail and stayed on there feet for the rest of the show.. it was crazy...
Now I haven't really had the pleasure of seeing many musicians live, I been to a few sidewinders and seen Romeo at Butlins (don't watch that i was young!)
so yesterday night was a eye opener I don't know whether its just Kanye, but shit the guy put on a show... and he wasn't dressed too badly either, he didn't cry or break down and he devoted some country music type tune to his mother which the backing singers sang..
He finished his set around 11:15ish when it should have been done by 10:30 so he was on stage for nearly 2 hours preforming banger after banger. Which i rate him for cos I heard 50cent took the piss on saturday and arrived late and finished early!!
But over-all very good. If you plan to Kanye live, do it now while he's in his prime.. rather than 15 years down the line when he's old and touring just because he needs money *COUGH Take That, Spice Girls, Prince, the list goes on COUGH*
Hold tight the special effects guy getting his solo!!!

So he's gone...
The worst manager this countries football team has had in recent years is finally gone. And rightly so, a manager with no proven credentials, no real previous success or balls was never gonna be a big look for England. Thus proven with a poor Euro qualification, underperforming players and poor tactical decisions.
After 12 poor performances during the European qualifiers we all know now England failed to qualify. We never looked a strong or confident side, never played quality football, never had the right balance and lacked "va va voom".
So now the wolly with the brolly is gone.
Who's next?
The likely candidates include Chelsea's former "Special one" Jose Mourinho (who seems to be the publics favourite)
Martin O'neil (who hasnt had fantastic success?)
Alan Shearer (who cant possibly get the job with no previous managerial experience)
Fabio Capello who has also shown interest in the position and a few others.
Theres only one man we really need.
So come on people at the FA. Get Jose in charge of England!
