The news came last night that yet another legend had passed at the age of 37. That person in question is the late DJ Roc Raida, member of the world famous X-Ecutioners/X-Men crew alongside Rob Swift, Total Eclipse and Mista Sinista and official DJ for Busta Rhymes' Flip Mode Squad.
Throughout Roc Raida's career he has been known for his many talents as a turntabalist, producer and of course as a fantastic DJ. With these exceptional talents he has worked with many other legends in the music industry such as DJ Premier, Cypress Hill, Mike Shinoda, Kool G Rap, QBert and Dead Prez to name a few.
Another aspect of Roc Raida's career that was very significant was his victory at the 1995 World DMC Championships which put him in the DMC Hall of Fame amidst many outstanding turntabalists from the past including Cutmaster Swift, Dj A-Trak, Plus One and Ca$h Money and many more.
