Earlier this year the police made an application to Hackney council for a review of Plastic People's license on the grounds that the way management had been operating the club had breached existing terms of its license and failed to prevent crime and disorder and public nuisance. Plastic People has never had a problem with it's license for the last 16 years. The management hope to work with the police and Hackney council to address their concerns.
Spine TV spoke to a few people to find out their feelings on the venue.

hackney council should be worrying about the deficit.. they seriously need to fix up there council.. Iv seen the london council reports.. hackey is like 70th out of 74..
