I think it goes without saying that Moony is quite possibly one of the most stand out grime / UKG producers at the moment. In recent months his production has noticeably improved no end with a vast amount of his tracks getting a regular rotation on all the usual radio stations.
Along with the constant inclusion of his beats in radio sets it has been great to see that a lot of them aren't disappearing into black holes and are instead getting the releases they deserve.
That is the case with the track; 'Close Enough' which I first heard on his brilliant guest mix for Aaron Hanson on Rinse FM and have been playing regularly ever since. There is now also a music video that accompanies the track which you can see below.
Be sure to check the other links to get a better idea of his material and its sheer diversity if you aren't aware of it already.
'Close Enough' will be available from all your usual digital music vendors on 7th of May.
BNTL have been helping out with the Sony World Photography Awards 2012 being held at Somerset House. Curated by Candlestar the show boasts an eclectic selection of photographs, over a huge space with a particularly strong youth exhibition. Photographer Mitch Dobrowner has been announced the winner for his insane photographic series Storms... a reminder that the weather could be worse.
The show opened today and runs until the 20th May.
Big shout out to the bad girl photographer, Deepa keshvala who was recently out in India for her project. A lot more to come from her in the near future.
