Lee Jeans x Vice Magazine Party @ The Rainbow and Soulution x Breakthru @ Med Bar

So after a long week at work it's party time, the plan was get to the rainbow for 11 stay for an hour then get my regular intake of drum n bass. The plan worked fine.

The Rainbow:

Arrived with a drunken Ed and Stu to find the rainbow ramjam with cool guys and hot girls, a first for Birmingham! with some grime and old skool garage selection from the dj the drinks were flowing and so was the cocaine as some dude took a bigggggggggg line right in front of me. Found everyone from work, claimed my free beer and proceeded to chill...

So it hit 12 and i left for Soulution Breakthru, lynxx played 12-1 and it was a fairly dull set, i even considered going back to the rainbow..

so the hour past and on came callibre. Deep powerful basslines and Stamina hosting really brought the crowd to their feet, dropping some massive tunes including the "high contrast - everythings different remix".

The last set Marcus Intalex.... oh my, the best set ive ever heard from the normally chilled and relaxed liquid selector. Picking some nasty deep tunes, including Break - The drone almost brought the dance floor to a mosh pit. Hats off Marcus you absolutely rinsed it!
