A Bathing Ape Autumn/Winter 08

Bape's Autumn/Winter pieces are now on sale and suggest they may be moving away from the designs that have become synonamous with Bape, amoung the mainstream, and towards something that resembles thier origins slightly more.

Im not usually one to enjoy Bape, but ill be making a trip to the NY store to see if they have any of the shirts in stock and cross my fingers that i dont get raped by a japanese capitalist whilst at it.

Opinions?

ummmmm trewz.com, bape have been doing patchwork shirts for a long time, as have RL and a countless other clothing companies so I dont think its 'ripping MHI' LOL

Hopefully all you numb-nuts will move on and the people who enjoyed the company for its aesthetic appeal will be able to breath again.

Bape had a similar print to that SEASONS ago.. If anyone ripped anyone, it's the other way around.

Ok Nothing is original, MHI did not invent patchwork shirts; If you are all avid "streetwear" fans or follow certain brands you would know Ice Cream released a patchwork shirt during their 06/07 season. However neither did they invent the patchwork shirt, it is an item that has been available for years, but only being re-designed and re-modelled via streetwear brands properly now.
So please stop the cat this, cat that.

how anyone can mention MHI in the same breath as BAPE is beyond me.

MHI has bee ripping off other brands for more then 10 years.

MHI has been IRRELEVANT for more then 10 years.

BAPE has been doing most of that stuff for more then 10 YEARS.

haha.

BTW all that stuff is from BAPE's new subline called 'bape classics'.

there's some good stuff there, it's just a tad over priced imo.

so the wasteman tee you wear is an example of you not following trends or following people, whether you like it or not we are all pretty much subconsciouly influenced by things.
So, by your meaning then everyones copied everyone, which is true. But please do not act like MHI came up with the idea of a patchwork shirt.
