Art For Baby
A nice little book which was released on Friday in Selfridges, for babies aged 6 to 12 months. Twelve black and white images created by leading contemporary artists including Damien Hirst, Julian Opie and Takashi Murakami .
Not the most amazing art book about, obviously due to the fact its for babies but a nice book never the less. And £1.50 from each book sale goes to NSPCC.
(one for the that future coffee table, as a close friend of mine would say)
Art & Sole (contemporary Sneaker / Art and design)
Basically a book which focuses on contemporary, cutting edge sneaker design from the lasering to to various materials. Also exploring and celebrating the creative side of sneaker culture, with information on almost every highly anticipated collaborative shoe within the past 5 to 7 years , the book also plays homage to those artists who base work on sneakers and have had various exhibitions on the subject.
Japanese Graphics Now!
Now those who have rummaged through any art/graphic design section of a library. Would have probably come across this book or any of the "Taschen design books" come to think of it. This particular book was released in 2006 so probably has design pieces dating back from around about mid 2005 a little out of date but with the "Taschen 25 year anniversary discount" it was little hard to leave on the shelf.
(As stated before various Taschen books covering art, photography, architecture, film, lifestyle, travel, pop culture and sex, are being re released at discounted prices to co-inside with there 25th anniversary)
Loving bntl like a fat kid loves cake.

In addition, I hope Carson Palmer’s game day sit down didn’t screw you as it did someone in my league. Anyways, onto the pick ups…
