WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? FIRST OFF THEY USED TO PUT THESE TRENDY LIL NITES ON IN WEST LDN, THEN THAT WASNT EDGEY AND UNDERPRIVELEDGED ENOUGH SO THEY HAD TO MOVE TO SHOREDITCH AND HOXTON AS THAT WAS IN THE OLD EAST END SO MUST BE A LITTLE MORE EDGEY AND URBAN...
NOW SHOREDITCH IS SATURATED WITH SO MANY WHITE SHIRT WEARING HOUSE LISTENERS WE MUCH SLOWLY MOVE DOWN THE KINGSLAND ROAD TOWARDS INNER HACKNEY BECUASE OBVIOUSLY HACKNEY IS AN UNDERPIRVELEDGED BOUROUGH AND IF WE PUT ON AN EVENT THER IT WILL BE LESS KNOWN AND OUT OF THE WAY.

PLEASE STOP MOVING DOWN THE KINGSLAND ROAD, EVENTUALLY YOULL END UP IN SEVEN SISTERS. INSTEAD OF CAREFULLY SELECTING THE SAFEST AND MOST TRENDY JOINTS IN THESE BOROUGHS IN ORDER TO GAIN THE CREDIBILITY BUT NOT THE DANGER, JUST JUMP IN THE DEEP END AND BE WHOLE HEARTED AND BUT AN EVENT ON IN VICTORIA PARK YOUTH CLUB.

ITS PATRONISING TRYING TO USE THESE POSTCODES ARE ARENAS AS AN EXTENSION OF YOUR IDENTITY AND CLOTHING, NOT ONE OF THE DJS ON THE ROSTER HAVE GROWN UP IN THESE NEIGHBOURHOODS AND THE INFLUX OF FUKING TRENDY 20 +'S WORKING IN CREATIVE INDUSTRIES AND MEDIA INTO E8/E5 IS A FUCKKKKKIN BURDEN.

THESE EVENTS ARE NOT TARGETED AT THE LOCAL PEOPLE, THERE IS NO ATTEMPT TO INVOLVE THEM, YOUR JUST CREATING A SMALL ELITIST BUBBLE INSIDE OF AN OTHERWISE UNINTERESTED AREA.

Thats the most ridiculous amount of babble I've ever read. You completely contradict yourself. If there is such an 'influx of fuking trendy 20 +'s working in creative industries and media into E8/E5' than surely this 'trendy lil nite' is catering to some of the tastes of the area rathering than creating a 'small elitist bubble'. Plus if its such an 'underprileged' area than isnt it welcoming to see a bit of life brought back into it. Had you thought that maybe the person running this night couldn't afford one of those venues in shoreditch, just the same as some of those trendy media types as you dub them cant afford rental prices in Hoxton either. Stop judging!

who is this anonymous chief...

Born and bred in dalston.
I went to Colvestone Primary school on ridley road market.

This is a music night made for people who like to party without pretentions. If we happen to draw some overt fashionistas thats more money for us.

All are welcome, even this pussy who is too scared to show his face.

Bless up Ollie...

You mug!

"welcoming to see a bit of life brought back into it"

An underpriveledged area can have life in it without economic prosperity, I-D mag and thrift fashion aint brining life back into Hackney you dum mug.

Well dun santi san, clap clap, you live in dalston, the nights still pretencious regardles ov wat u wud like to think.
ur an anomaly mate, salston dont need to cater to a bunch of pretencious cats. Should be lookin inwards...

If i turned up with clothing clashin tha non-conformist dresscode i would UNDOUBTEDLY & DEFINATELY be outcastd/looked at/judged.

I understand you are TRYIN to create a night wid no pretenion but your doing it wivin the scene framework (wheva u like it or not), so your guna b unable to eradicate the truth that is ur clientelle jus want to see people like them, its not an inviting, open night, a closely-knitted friendship group and their afilliates attend it.

u shudnt start using words like "pussy/chief" just goes to proove my point that its not a accepting night but infact one of prentncious people who cnt acknowledge constructive criticism. If i hav probs wiv the nite im not gunna roll up and KILLKILLKILL, i chose to be construtive wiv my opinions.

Fair enough...

But this has become far too serious. We threw this party so that people can "Party".

Throughout time fashion and music have gone hand in hand. Mods and Rockers, Dancehall, Jungle etc...But all these subcultures have treated music as the uniting factor.

It is true that today too many parties put the falseness of fashion and appearance first and put the music last, switching every tune after 30 seconds. However, I do not cite these people as my inspiration and the minute I do someone slap me.

I will put you on the guestlist, wear what you want and come rave. down as:

I dont care who lives where or who works in what industry or who is underpriviledged etc.
What i do care about is the £5 i paid to get in to stand there for an hour. Furthermore, no explanation was given as to what was happening.

THAT WAS NOT COOL......

However i will say up until that point, it actually looked like a pretty decent party. I hope the next one is more successful.

YOU PUT THE EVENT ON IN HACKNEY AND LOOK WHAT HAPPENED, IT GOT ROBBED.
DONT BE FUCKING SUPPRISED, PEOPLE ARE HUNGRY AND A GROUP OF WHITE PEOPLE IN BOAT SHOES LOOK LIKES A NICE SUPPER, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY NEVER LEARNT TO PLAY ON VINYL DECKS BECUASE THEY NEVER PUT THE WORK IN, SO YOU CAN ROB SOME CDJ'S, BONUS!!!

YOU LEARNT THE HARD WAY AND MY PROPHECY WAS ALMOST SPELT OUT PERFECTLY. ITS NOT ALL ABOUT CREATING AN IMAGE BY ORGANISING THE LOCATION OF AN EVENT, SOME EVENTS ARE NOT RIGHT FOR THIS SORT OF THING.

HOPE YOU MAKE MORE EDUCATED JUDGEMENTS IN THE FUTURE
