Part of everyone's summer survival kit is a clean set of frames. Last year was all about the 'Wayfarer', whether you opted for the Ray Ban's, the Oakley 'Frogskins' or the £2 'Primarni' one's is irrelevant. 2008 was dominated by the 'Wayfarer'. First seen back in the 1950's but gained popularity in the 70's on the faces of Rock n Roll bands and from there taken on by us all.
This year the only frame who will contend with the Wayfarer is the 'Clubmaster'. Ray Ban dropped these badboys in 1986 but summer 2009 will see the youth bring these back into the limelight.

RayBans are straight classics that will never get out dated.
Obviously loads of people copped wayfares last year and the year before that and so on.
But i'll keep rocking my mum's old tortoise shell ones until they snap in half.

Back to the wayfarers....the shape will never lose top spot in my opinion. I've always found it hard to find a decent frame that suits me so when the clubmasters looked ight i was an immediate fan.
