My friend Daniel from the Crystal Vision collective is showing off his work this Thursday. Its worth checking out before you head to GOT GOT NEED.
'GANG GREEN
An Exhibition by Daniel David Freeman and Paddy Jones.
Brace yourself for the latest spectacle to descend on the Old Shoreditch Station! For 6 weeks, two of London's most stimulating young illustrators will transform the space with a series of eye-popping illustrations, paintings and 3D works... GANG GREEN - Daniel and Paddy's painstakingly-detailed, warped fantasy world where nothing is what it seems. Inspired by their combined preoccupations with 80s B movies, the age of irony, sci-fi, 80s thrash and punk artwork, Judge Dredd, bondage, Arnold Schwarzenegger, muscles and hair gel.
This is a one-off collaboration between two formidable talents who have notched up considerable success in their fledgling careers. Their dynamic, eccentric styles have been recognised by the I.C.A, Dazed and Confused, X L records, Platform (Daniel) Vice, Heroin, Casio and Foundation skateboards (Paddy) to name a few.'
