Splendid China - Kissimmee, FL

Couple of friends and I went out to see this abandoned theme park that failed miserably due to low attendance. Its semi-close to disney world and there werent really any rides, so it sucked.. $100 million dollar investment down the drain. It was just a recreation of China and it's landmarks in miniature size.. There were eventually lots of protests and only lasted a couple of years, closed down in 2003. It's torn the fuck up now and looks great.

fucking squatters..

oh wait..

just when I was getting to the good stuff. we found out that they had a 24/7 securtiy cop inside. great, there goes the most anticipated journeys into abandoned land. Missed out on the statues and 50 other acres of land..

banned for trespassing, those bastards..

heres the shit we missed (NOT MY PICS)

a photographers wetdream.. sort of anyway.

now we have to get this damn tresspassing warrent off of us, contact the people who own it, and ask permission, but that takes off the whole gist of it all doesnt it? ahhh whatever..
oh well, thought i'd share some different adventures from across the pond.

peace!

i wonder who thought a theme park based on china, with no rides, would be a good idea!?

Would be so much sicker at night, you should go back in, in shadow mode and long expose your troubles away.
