Peacoat's part 1

Most of us felt that extra chill this morning, it has eluded us thus far this winter.
So now its finally come I think its time to either, have that heavy whole peacoat that's been in the closet for past 6 months dry cleaned, or invest a bit of cash in a new one.

If your looking to invest my first recommendation would be this double breasted peacoat from Band Of Outsiders. Available only in black I think it looks extremely sharp, has a nice cut, all seems on the inside and the added touch of the cream toggle closures gives a nice colour contrast in comparison to the rest of the coat.
Fortunately that hood is detachable, having a hood on peacoat kind of spoils it imo.

Down sides would be the fact I don't think it has a connecting clip underneath the collar which doesn't gives full closure for the neck on those extra breezy cold days, doesn't come in navy which is just damn right wrong, Annnd it doesn't come cheap.

Available now from - TheCorner.com
Although it would be a little bit cheaper to have it shipped In from an American
website such as - Forward by Revolve

Loving bntl like a fat kid loves cake.

APC did a few really nice pea coats last season, might be worth checking out some sale sections online for a bargain.

That's a duffle coat, not a pea coat.

the cut is quite female

It could be considered a duffle coat.
But the fact the
hood is removable,
it's double breasted
aaaaand it isn't 3/4 lengthed
I have fair justification for calling it a peacoat.

And to the other anon
Stating I'm useless and out depth for talking about a coat,
Fully agree with you . . .
