Or rather not, due to adverse wind conditions the laws of health and safety decided the Marquee could not be erected. Personally I wasn't hugely disappointed by this, the line up was very strong but for some reason I wasn't overly hyped by it.
Apologies for the poor pictures my "toy" camera was in use as I planned to get quite wasted for my birthday...
So the doors opened around 10.15 and the venue quickly filled, after milling around in the med bar for about 50 minutes I checked the set times for the dubstep room on Cemtex's pda (thank you Cemtex) and proceeded over to the kitchen for Process. The kitchen filled slowed to a healthy crowd and Process smacked it.
Next up Eardrum resident Miller G. Packed with energy and enthusiasm, absolutely smashed it, some stupid dancing on my part during this set.
12 o'clock arrived and so did the dubstep headliner Hatcha. Fresh plates galore Hatcha tore down the kitchen, with the crowd screw facing and gun fingering all the way, I think this sums up his set:
After that Maverick and Nemasis stepped up, dropping some of their own dubs which were absolutely disgusting! and their own remix of midnight request line which was a surprise!
Emiles turn was next some extra special mixing really showed the effort he's putting into his sets..
After that went over to the med bar to check out the end of Marcus Intalex, the usual deep rollers from Marcus with DRS over his set the place was still a road block
Commix finished up 5-6 with some sensual bass and Fozz and Biggie hosting, Early morning skanking!
