I was invited down to check out 'The Three Threads' 09 collection yesterday, not knowing anything about the brand I didn’t know what to expect. On arrival I was pleasantly surprised, greeted with a warm reception from a more refined streetwear crowd and free bar set up in the store, all this made for a good evening and I was yet to look at the collection.
On to the clothes, the labels they went for included:
Tenderloin, New Balance, Pointer, Tonight, Fred Perry, Carhartt, Red Wing and Clarks Originals.
I was happy to see some key Workwear looks were also available.
The store was most definitely a breath of fresh air and reminded me why I love streetwear so much. The target age group was beyond the usual 16-25, proving streetwear can still appeal to the customers that are looking for something a little more understated.
Some pictures and favourites from the evening...
The girls are well looked after too...
The 'Harem' pants look is fast becoming a favourite for the ladies...
Props needs to go to Laerke the Scandinavian Sales Assistant with a more than impressive brand knowledge and Dominic for his constant insight throughout the night.
