But last night at Croydub x Bangers I met Reps, member of Brighton group The Lost Souls and UK/Polish supergroup SkillMega. Providing me with his latest solo release it is only right that I bring your attention to what he's doing right now.
Having read the reviews from The Metro, Hip-Hop Connection and The Big Smoke to name but a few, the critics are definitely in great favour of "The Saga of a Peaceful Man" which is his most recent offering out on Flash Fry Records.
"Plenty of laughs and punch lines mixed with some bouncy relaxed brighter vibes. Making this ear pleasing music" - The Big Smoke
"This smoothly produced solo debut puts across his combination of fast patter and easy-going charisma for a broader audience" - The Metro
The artwork by Pete Loveday is brilliant and very in-keeping with the style of Reps' delivery and lyrics.
SkillMega - Breathe In
Reps Ft O.S.T.R - Park Ranger
"The Saga of a Peaceful Man" by Reps is available in all good record stores and on digital download.
Check Reps at the Rhythm Factory on 13th of June - I warn you well in advance.

Park Ranger is doing it for me. Reps flow, keys and DJ make for a good combination.
He is honestly not a talented rapper. The beats are tight but the lyrics/flow are poor.
mmmm I really cant fuck with UK hip-hop artists that much, its the accents that dont cut it for me, which coming from a UK, hip-hop producer its probs not the best thing to say lol
Klash, Kyza, Skinny, Rodney P, Roots Manuva. not much else beyond that is really worth listening to when it comes to "UKHH" these days. Don't get me wrong, when I was like 15,16 I used to trek to Cambridge to go to Rawganics, hit Kung Fu up, listen to Disorda and cop his mixtapes and do the rounds, but these days I can't get down with too much UK rap.
