The lunar racer & trainer talks to me in places that have been ignored for too long by nike,combining the flywire technology with the lunarlite foam....its alott!!
The flywire adds support to the foot only where it is needed, reacting to the movements of the foot kind of like an extra ligament so the shoe looses alot of unecessary weight.
The lunarlite foam was made for areospace engineering, but actually erodes when it reacts with basically anything, light air etc, but nike at the fore front of innovation adapted it so it suitable for use, developing a casing and what not.the better responsiveness means that athletes disperse/waste less energy while running. running shoes prior were not responsive enough meaning the shoe tend to zap energy from the athlete where as the lunar racer returns more energy to the athlete.
The way the two work together is about as riduculous, Gary Glitter opening a nursery. you need to see this to understand the tech thats been put into it, they got a pair over at the 1948 space (not for sale) but your allowed to slaivate. there is a tier 0 coming out some time soon, which will be down there aswell.
