DC x Chemical Records
2010 marks Chemical Records’ 10th year as an online retailer of music, streetwear and fashion.
To mark this they teamed up with DC Shoes to create an exclusive T shirt, bearing the DC logo in a record sleeve print, a nod to Chemical Records’ music roots.
To celebrate this collaboration Tim Crawley film company TCTV created this film featuring Dave Snaddon of the DC Shoes UK Team and music from Chemical Records.

The story of Herschel begins in the early 1900’s, in Wick, Scotland. Peter Alexander Cormack, a barrel maker by trade, and his wife Annie packed the belongings of their small home in preparation for the long journey across the Atlantic to Canada. The government of the time was enticing families to immigrate through the homestead program. They gave these families land to farm, to support the growth of the country. The land that Peter and Annie were given saw them settle in the beautiful rolling hills outside of the town of Herschel, whose population today is counted at 30 residents.
Over a century after that move, Peter and Annie’s great grandchildren remain in the business of manufacturing. Instead of barrels, backpacks and bags are now created. Herschel Supply Co. was started with the goal of bringing well-designed quality built product to market. Inspiration is drawn from vintage mountaineering, American heritage, world travel and fashion. Herschel reinvents these products with modern shapes, fits and feels, with fine regard for detail. Our product endeavors to compliment the consumer's passion for individuality and personal style in a new way. Herschel is about our past, present and future. We are creating an environment that supports the new generation of fashion forward individuals.

HAVANA CULTURA (LIVE): NEW CUBA SOUND
To coincide with the latest release from globetrotting DJ Gilles Peterson – ‘Havana Cultura Remixed’, Havana Club rum will host two concerts of Cuba’s freshest musical talent - performing Latin, afro jazz and fusion to hip hop, funk, reggaeton and R&B.
The Havana Cultura live tour is the latest in a series of cultural projects from Havana Cultura, a global art initiative from Havana Club rum, celebrating fresh talent across all artistic disciplines.
Powered by Roberto Fonseca and his acclaimed band, the concerts will feature Cuban star Danay (described by Gilles Peterson as ‘Cuba’s Jill Scott’), as well as Ogguere, one of the hottest and most inventive hip hop acts in Cuba.
Saturday 3rd July at The Sage Gateshead and Tuesday 6th July at Barbican, London.

The Creators Project is a new network dedicated to the celebration of creativity and culture across media, and around the world.
The project is a collaborative effort between VICE and INTEL, The Creators Project features more than 80 Artists from around the world pushing creative boundaries. Artists involved in the project include Interpol, Spike Jonze, Mark Ronson, Richie Hawtin, Ma Yansong, Alexandre Herchcovitch and many others.
At a time in the history of the arts where digital technologies have revolutionized distribution, democratized access, and completely re-imagined the scope and scale with which an artist can create a vision and reach an audience, The Creators Project is a completely new kind of arts and culture channel for a completely new kind of world.

Vice Style Launch Party
Seems like Vice have decided to pull their fingers out and start putting effort into things again. Last night was the Launch party for the new online style site. Expect more fashion from around the globe and plenty more of Vice's outspoken take on all things random...
As much as I expected the party to be pie it was actually decent and the same goes for the new site, Vice have got it right this time. Props.
