Sweet Exhibition - Private View Thursday 7th April

SWEET is a collaborative group exhibition fusing moving image and hand drawn illustration focusing on the playful nature of illustration, animation and the interaction of space. Driven by hand rendered and tangible image making, the artists involved are all greatly influenced and inspired by bold, bright colours and pattern. SWEET brings these individual techniques together in a vibrant and interactive way.

Oliver Dunn is a Leeds based artist specialising in hand drawn illustration. His bold line and patterns creep up canvases and wrap around trainers making ordinary everyday objects more fun.

Lynnie Zulu, a recent graduate from Kingston University, specialises in illustration. Lynnie’s use of bright colours and free flowing paint strokes bring her illustrations to life with a psychedelic tribal twist.

Sam Szulc also based in Leeds, focuses on the hand drawn. Sam is influenced by folk art and low-tech style with a use of bold line drawing and bright paint strokes.

Matt Lloyd is a London based illustrator and animator who focuses on hand drawn illustration and will be creating a hand drawn 2D animation especially for the exhibition.

John Malcolm Moore, Tom Bunker & Ben Brown join forces to create mind blowing 3D animations and will be exhibiting their collaborative work as well as some individual pieces.
