Louis Vuitton buys The Hundreds

They say the Hundreds is huge, but it just got even bigger! CNN news informs us that the LVMH group (Louis Vuitton - Moet- Henessy) that also owns a long list of fashion houses across the globe (including Marc Jacobs, Dior watches, Kenzo, Donna Karan and many more) recently acquired ownership of the LA skate brand.

Now I'm sure you're all familiar with The Hundreds, they have a massive influence in the current street wear industry. Personally not a big fan of their products but I feel they represent street culture very well and have one of the most influential blogs on the net!

The buy out is rumoured to have cost $18 million leaving the Hundreds boys with very deep pockets, but has also left them in control of the company creatively at least, we're assured by the Hundreds via their blog that things aren't going to change. We'll just have to wait and see!
