Magnetic were hosting a free party for their final night at the Custard Factory before they move down the road to the Rainbow, with drum n bass in the med bar, dubstep in the kitchen and crap dance pool side things were bound to be busy. Arriving with Taharka, Boogie Dave and Blaise after a social gathering at Jon's, I headed straight to the kitchen to see Opiate smashing through his first solo dubstep set. For the first time in months there was dubstep in the kitchen and it felt so good to be back, Opiate drew the majority of the crowd in and some crazy dancefloor antics were witnessed!
Apologies for the lack of photographic evidence as I was too busy skanking myself!
Boogie Dave stepped up next continuing with the big tunes and keeping the attention of the real dubstep heads inside. Taharka was definitely feeling it...
Warm weather meant plenty of people were chillin on the bench's outside, Shimmy was out for the first time in a while and was celebrating a friends birthday, so happy birthday Shimmy's friend.
Spent the majority of the rest of the night popping from the kitchen to the med bar, wasn't really on a drum n bass tip though Escapes set was big as usual. Dropping PA- Para People was a highlight, this tune is absolute filth. If someone wants a sound track to food poisoning I think this is it!
