Last week I checked out The Havana CLUB PALADAR at the Lands of Kings festival. This traveling club experience was here for one night only and set up camp in the disused MC Motors workshop in Dalston. The venue was curated by Charlie Dark which saw several rooms decked out with a Cuban theme and played host to a variety of activities including music, film, spoken word and art.
The highlight of the evening came from Brassroots Ensemble who covered some bangers that got the place jumping. The likes of Thristian BPM and Acyde closed proceedings with what they do best.
The infamous Meat Wagon was stationed outside with its hospital themed staff. I can confirm the rumors are true..these are the best burgers in town...
