To put it simply, yes. I don't know of another brand offering such high quality construction and technical apparel in its first collection. Not just another t-shirt brand, Y'OH!'s prize asset is its spectacular outerwear. Made in East London, from fabrics such as waxed Scottish cotton and lined with military twill, the jackets ooze authenticity.
The collection also uses African Wax print for its shirting and other cut and sew pieces as a refreshing alternative to the rehashing and reuse of the same old checks and plaid. Further proving Kara doesn't want to be "just another streetwear brand" setting sail in an already over crowded ocean. The colours may be a little outlandish for some, but Kara has assured me, when they're sat next to some nice denim and a fresh pair of kicks, it all makes sense.
The Kids of Grime exhibition was pretty sick too. Some real nice rave and portrait pics, featuring a lot of leading grime artist's and mc's.
