A couple weeks back my main girl Alexandra Gardener's Olympics collection for Adidas dropped in stores. The collection is the result of a collaboration between Adidas and the British Fashion Council (BFC). Where students from a number of leading design universities were challenged to
design, an inspirational and innovative collection representing London
during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. 100s of students entered but only one could win, with that said the talented Alexandra took the top spot and saw her designs go into production recently.
Her Adidas collection consists of women's lifestyle and sports apparel, with a striking graphic representation of the London 2012 grid design. The collection is available now nation wide over at Adidas stores.
Last week Thursday, Clarks held a special release event at Foot-Patrol for their new Sportswear Collection. Sadly due to other obligations, I wasn't able to pass through and document the evenings goings on.
The Clarks Sportwear collection fuses their shoemaking heritage together with modern sport technologies, using the high quality materials and the latest construction methods from sport footwear design. In the design process of the Tanner Mid & Tanner Fly Mid, Clarks main focus was on creating a lightweight sole. Also featuring premium materials such as goat leather lining and hairy suede.
Peep the video for more information.

Monorex are getting their grown man on. Est. in 2005 by Terry Guy, Monorex and it's scion Secret Wars have been turning ripples into waves from stairwells to stage for a while. Most recently the good ship Secret Wars docked in Barcelona, where cast & crew were collab-ing with Reebok, adorning the sportswear giant's display stalls @ insider trade fair Bread & Butter. We at BNTL are jammy enough to have exclusive footage from the event beamed to your screens direct from the edit room floors of Monorex towers. The video showcases the uncouth talents of Monorex artists, Jimi Crayon, Teck1, Miss LED, Mr K, Elfin, Alfa, Conzo and Code 26, with Reeps 1 and Session on the audio vibrations...
None of the artists were harmed in the making of this movie
The video also showcases Reebok's staple output of treads, with heavy onus on the crisp white ladies Freestyle Hi. The shoe was 25 yrs old in '07 and this year saw a spectrum of collabs like the Colette x MOB pass through the feeds of hypebeast, highsnobiety, kicksonfire and the like. For the ladies that haven't copped yet the Milkfed pastel all-overs are in at Gloria's @ ye olde Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, Banglatown
