Arranged to meet Witts around 3, but as I do, I was early, so spent some time rifling through Size? Here's some things that caught my eye, for different reasons you understand..
Filas X Wu Tang = Disgraceful.. Does anyone remember that t-shirt that said "Leave Mike and The Wu alone"? Yeah, that was kind of hypocritical, but really.. do it!
Another rap-related spin off.. When will they stop? These are actually quite decent though - Not, 'I would buy these' decent, just... 'decent'.
First port of call was Hideout, and while Witts was trying on his nice new pullover, I scouted out the cash register for any freeness that was to be had -
So I picked up one of these! This complimentary pamphlet was the butt of many jokes that day, but the fact of the matter remains - FREE in HIDEOUT.. That's so much more than you're used to.
After Hideout, my companion grew hungry and decided to embark on a KFC, which proved to be a mistake - post payment.
Mutant lettuce and wooden bread, anyone?
Then we went to the Japan Centre, on Witts' orders, so it's understood.. I'm not the neek.
He thought about buying a Warp, which features the new Supreme photo shoot, but at £10.20, he had to walk away empty handed.
Then we swfitly awayed to meet Alex outside the Ministry of Defence, to give him his coat.
Apparently, there's a pub of the same name in Birmingham, this caused great excitement amongst the Brummy contingent.
We met Alex, he ran off after a bus, and I took a picture (illegally??) of this fellow, while Witts was re-arranging his bagging situation (um?).
Probably giving those 'mug-off' directions.
Rogue Status.
Witts fondeling the Cheap Mondays, which now belong to yours truly.
Next stop; Slam City Skates.
Gone are the days of that dusty railing, this is the (relatively) new display downstairs at Slam.
Then onto Urban Outffiters, looked at some slightly rigid non-selvage APC's, and then these Sk8 Hi's caught my eye..
I was already well versed in the 'Penis Pokey' (thanks Lodi) but to Witts, it was a brave new world, he enjoyed himself, needless to say.
Then we went to 'Criminal', don't say anything, my friend spoke of how a brand represntative had approached him and talked to him about Criminal, and even offered him free merchandise, so we had a quick look at what they had to offer...
Sadly nothing (despite some waxed black denim?) - And guns and knuckle dusters, that's a new one..
Outside Criminal.
Criminal concluded our retail adventure, and I escorted Witts back to Euston, via the farting train..
Wispa's have made a welcome return!!!!! Buy one now, I would say "buy 2" but at 62p, who has that kind of wealth at their disposal?
James Yancey lives on in London. :'(
We're too busy keeping the STREETS of London clean (hardly) and not paying enough attention to the fire alarms of London, look at this poor chap! Submerged in 17 years of grime.
'Twas a pleasent day.
More updates as the news comes in. CHECK BACK!
