Damu - Unity

After bringing us albums from the likes of LV & Joshua Idehen and Sully, Keysound continue on their path of bringing the freshest and most forward thinking sound's of the underground to our ears. This time its the turn of Damu with his new album 'Unity'
At an hour long, this maybe one for a train journey or road trip but it is definitely an album crafted from colour and emotion. With only two releases under his belt, Damu has already received support from the likes of; Starkey, Sinden, Brodinski, Sbtrkt, Girl Unit, and notably The Streets’ Mike Skinner, who selected Damu as one of his “New Faces of UK Dance Music” in his Guardian takeover in February. Thus proving he is already making an impact on the dancefloors across the world.

Mary-Anne Hobbs has dubbed Damu “An extraordinary young producer" and said "I'll be watching every step he takes in 2011”.

One of my favourite tracks from the album is 'Ridin' The Hype' and features vocals from former Roll Deep MC, Trim.
