Don't quite get how this was the outcome of two solid brands collaborating on a shoe. Lazy does come to mind. Regardless, I think it would make a solid rotation shoe.
Can't front, I haven't been the biggest fan of the last couple of converse X missoni drops. Fruity colourways and bait patterns just haven't been able top their a/w 2010 drop or original drops in 2009.
But this time I can't say a bad word about these badboys I came across a couple of weeks back thanks to the Tres BienInstagram page. Sick is not the word! Missoni took the colabo up 20 notches.
Second time round we see Converse teaming up with Finnish textile and clothing company Marimekko. Admittedly, this was one of my more favored collaborations of 2011. And just like last years offering I'm not disappointed with the final releases. A solid batch of all stars in highs and lows, with bold colours, experimental patterns and clean looks. There's even the addition of a Jack Purcell to.
Anybody that knows me, will be aware I'm a sucker for a decent pair of cons. So when I first got wift of news that NYC based artist Jose Parla was teaming up Converse on a Product Red Shoe I was extremely excited. The shoes officially drop tomorrow at Footpatrol (in store and online). At the moment their is no price details but I'm guessing, going by previous product red Converse releases it would be safe to say something around the £100 mark wouldn't be to far off.
