So, me, Colin & Aaron set off to Tate Modern to check out the new street art exhibition.. After a little milling around, we found a map and discovered that all the pieces were scattered across the local vicinity. Some of them less inspiring than others, it must be said. The order of the photos is in-accurate..
St. Pauls.
Is this the best sign in the whole of London?
Definitely top 3 selected.
Some of the art on the side of the Tate Modern building, amid a throng of people.
On our exploration of the widespread street art exhibition we came across, what appeared at first glance to be a memorial site.. On further inspection we found out it was an anciet burial ground which was the final resting place for social outcasts. (!?!). It seemed as though construction work was underway, and the gate was covered in ribbons, flowers and all sorts of other bits and pieces in some form of protest.
One of the street art exhibits.
In the evening we reached the Vice Kills party at Proud Galleries, but I know how badly 'nights out' photos have gone down of late, so I'll refrain from posting some.. (not that I took any).
Missed the performance of Roots Manuva, but we were definitely in attendance for Oneman & Martelo, who both smashed it. Hang tight Ollie, Greg, Ed & Dom - surprise appearance from the Cov contingent. Also big up BNTL family tree member Hooks, who was also in attendance. And lastly shout out Her Royal Majesty and her "FAMILY COUSIN!" Haha.
