The Bag and the Baaaaaaaaaaangle

So yesterday me and Kesi Imposible Charles aka www.songkick.com representative, bucked up to go Favela Chic.

Started in Borders were I finally got my Kaws id Kaws ID cover and spotted the mad funny Josiephine from R.W.A.P with her beautiful mad curly hair. (if your reading this woman sorry i never approached you)

After this we were on our way, but the lady Kesi needed the toilet (I swear that’s the favorite place for you women out there), no lavatory in site except for a mcdonalds
where a weird looking dude had the audacity to pooh in the disabled toilets ! so the lady refused to use it so
i thought i'd get her into my uni so she could use there toilets.

When we realized today was the private viewing of the
Cental Saint Martins. graduates degree shows.

Managing to get in some how as it was
(invite only mainly for family and business types) we scoured around looking at some of the work from the various degrees . . from jewelery making, to product design to textiles to graphic design etc . . .

whilst kesi got drunk, or in her word "happy", i was rotting my teeth with the free harribo and jelly babies from the oriental kids down in the jewelery section!

the show overall was great and gives a nice insight into the work of young fresh students
the show/ exhibition will run on for a good two weeks and is free so if your board one day pop in and check out the large amount of work on offer . .

I didn’t take much pictures of work out of respect to the students, as many pieces had'nt yet been copy righted and were bound to be on there way to major companies.

3^rd toilet trip now if there was one thing from the night I learned is if a woman says
"im just going toilet quickly il be back in sec"
DON’T BELIEVE HER you could get left in the weirdest places holding a leopard print canvas bag in public for a good amount of time.

kesi’s new best friend kat . . . talk between the two of blogs, philosophy, photography and the contents of a females bag began. random I know.
But back to kat the female over lodged us she said she was just going to get her bag and would be 5mins but never returned. How I felt used and abused.

After the exhibition me and a semi drunk kesi, finally reached our intended destination "favela chic" down old street and boy it didn’t disappoint the hip-hop music on offer was just SUPERB.
I couldn’t believe it I was extremely impressed, by the looks of the crowd this night had been slept on or maybe i just arrived late but there wasn’t a
“ldn exclusive t shirt wearing, new era cap rocking, sneaker popping, hip-hop head"
in sight bad stereo type . . sorry but its the only way i could put it
(except for the dj’s) which wasn’t a bad thing as it shows that good hip-hop music isn’t only appreciated by people from our "scene" but did baffle me as it was such a good event i thought a few more would be in the know.

Hold tight BNTLs very own Dj Cavalry and the other dj's on the night i don't remember there names but they were doing a lot for my ears.
Me and kesi skanked away in the corner like little kids to cool for school, unlike 95% of the other people who were in the venue that night
shit they were just letting lose and dancing like they were double jointed chickens in a pen getting ready for the slaughter. (but i cant even take the piss to hard as i loved the way they were just enjoying themselves regardless the fact they looked like they danced like boris johnson)

holdtight kesi's, 5^th or 6^th trip to the toilet it was her best, her lie that she had to tell about being 6 weeks pregnant, got her into a company building to use there toilet.
