Venturing down the stairs Concrete was already a lively placed packed this time with Brummies, with Charlie Victor providing the musics the skanking had already begun. Such a variety from the 'Vinyl is' man, bassline, dubstep and drum n bass amongst the genres on the playlist, even though the mixing was a bit sketchy for the drum n bass Charlie gets massive props for dropping Hazard - No more games!
Playing for over two hours, Blaise turned up about thirty minutes late due to a closure on the motorway but he didn't mess about in bringing the bass. Starting off with a dubby/reggae flex he quickly moved through the gears drawing for the hip hop classics, old skool garage and some devastating dubstep... some of the Rusko bits had me skanking all over the place! Hold tight Greg for elbowing me in the face during Jahova.
One thing I must point out is how the Concrete security felt the need to try and spoil everyone's fun. Every time people got a bit excited and started banging on the ceiling...they were going on like school teachers. WASTE MEN! Biggin' up Walex for standing up to their bullying and singling him out as the lone "ceiling banger"
Finally Klose one closed the show, starting with some old skool garage that didn't go down to well he pulled out some absolute hip hop classics causing the dance floor to errupt into a mosh pit and even some break dancing. Once again security tried to dampen the fun but they failed epically and the rowdy dance floor antics continued. I fled for the safety of my camera!
In summary I'm gonna say ENERGY pure energy from the crowd, too many familiar faces up there. Big up the Candy store crew, Size crew, Olivia and Grace, and everyone else you know who you are!

Who cares about what city has the best scene!? I've never been New York or Tokyo but I can guarantee a streetwear scene wouldn't make me prefer a place..
But truesay, there's such a thing as EU exclusives too.

its what makes us unique, wear what represents your moods and attitude
If you seriously need CLOTHING to represent your moods and attitude, you have self expression issues.
Its a lifestyle for me....

All this chat about Behind/"i do live for" is a bit depressing.
Streetwear IS a fashion genre. It isnt a culture. Its a product OF cultures. You shouldnt love streetwear more than you like ths superficiality of overpriced clothing and scene mentality.
Streetwear is only good becuase it represents other cultures and although clothing and cultures merge they are never one and the same.
