Maharishi - Vintage WW2 Parachute Cloth

Recycled military uniform is all the rage but what about recycled and blessed military uniform? Yeah, Hardy Blechman is still a camoflague don.

"Recycled military surplus has always been a permanent feature of Maharishi’s mainline collection, including vintage surplus items that are recut and updated with accessory and cord systems. These processes are carried out in India, where the clothing is smudged with herbal incense, blessed, and washed in saffron water to symbolically cleanse it of its military associations. This season's pieces are individually cut from vintage used WW2 US Army parachutes, that were previously used in an art installation by Hardy Blechman at Riflemaker back in 1997."
