Fabriclive 61: Pinch Album Launch

Friday see's the launch party for Fabriclive's latest mix CD, this time put together by Bristol head, Dubstep pioneer and CEO of Tectonic Records, Pinch. The 61st instalment is a "powerful, streamlined and often near brutal mix" say Fabric, that has cleverly been started and finished at the same spot, so the album can be played continuously on loop without interruption.

Read more about the album HERE and watch the promo video below:

As enormous of a prospect the album launch may appear, it plays second fiddle to the monsterous Hessle Audio line up in the main room, obviously headlined by Hessle boys; Pearson Sound, Ben UFO & Pangaea and support from Kode 9, Icicle (performing live), Night Slugs' Jam City and Bristolian Kowton (with some big releases forthcoming on Keysound).

Pinch, of course heads Room 2 alongside Loefah (drawing for a 'Foundation Set', now whether this will be a dubstep set or not remains to be seen, but I've got my fingers crossed), flying Dutchman 2562, fellow Bristolian and Punch Drunk head honcho Peverelist, Distance, Om Unit & Blazey.

Manchester's Hoya:Hoya takeover Room 3 headlined by Lone and Illum Sphere with support from Eclair Ffi, Jon K, Platt & Johnny Dub.

Finally, check out this 30 minute promo mix from Pinch:
