All Tied Up, Fixed & Tom's Studio

An eventful night to say the least. Venturing out at 9 meeting Jon and reaching the Rainbow warehouse at around 10.

Greeted by the smell of marker pens and paint the warehouse was brimming with activity, live graffiti, art and music.

The live art was being created by Xerox, Two pence, Goonism, DBO, Dirty30, Under the hat, Phil Blak and many more with a further gallery containing work from students and Assault who some people may be familiar with because of their sneaker art.

Some of the snaps from the Gallery:

All fueled by

Not sure who was on the decks but a decent mix of hip hop and breaks flowed until Magnetic residents Opiate and Dizasta took to the stage. Armed with a colossal amount of vinyl they were to embark on a massive three hour set.

Chilled for while, surprised at the selection on the decks, quite a bit of jump up from a pair that normally play the kind of drum n bass to make grown men ruin their underwear!

More Beggin'

Our original plan was to head to Fixed at around 11.30-12.00 so 11.30 came and we ventured round the corner to the Medicine Bar which was empty! Some serious tunes coming from Hive but no dancefloor action and an absolute sausage fest. The Kitchen was a little livelier but nothing to shout about. After catching up with a few people the decision was made to head back to the warehouse, so we did.

The selection from Opiate and Dizasta was still quality so away we skanked. Had a call from Becky who was fairly drunk and told me she was coming to the warehouse. Around 5 minutes later she arrived so we just chilled for a bit and deliberated what to do. Tom said people were going back to his so as two o'clock came we all jumped in a taxi back to Toms.

A brief stop off at Spar to pick up some beer and beverages and a comical situation of some guy losing his wallet and shouting at the guy in Spar that he had dropped it in the hatch for night time sales. But got our alcohol and moved on swiftly.

Back at Toms for early morning chilling, drinking and mixing.
