Quite a dull Friday night, popped to Concrete for What dubstep free party, not many heads there and the dubstep was in the front room because of some "White party" in the main room.
The "White party" was pretty busy though, with a dress code of strictly white the crowd were very noticeable. What was also very noticeable there wasn't a single white person in there??
I think this was the highlight of What dubstep.. My mom never bought plasters like this!
Headed to Breakthru at med bar around 12, another disappointing show and the bunch of pilled up wankers on stage was quite embarrassing. Caught the end of Utah Jazz's set which seemed nice and chilled, resident Reaction was a bit hit and miss drawing for some absolute classics and some rather worrying fresh stuff?
Pace stepped up soon after and as normal breezed through the freshest tunes to grace wax on promo that day!
Finally Bryan G got on 3-4 nothing amazing from his set drawing for at least 3 or 4 Roni Size tunes.. redeeming himself with the Caspa Where's my money remix and Chase & Status - Indian Dub.
This guy was feeling it:
After party at Ines' mom's house, we retired to the bedroom at around 6. Waking up in an empty house that wasn't mine was a bit strange but the French music in the stereo put me at ease. I woke around midday and was greeted by "Gucci"
We got dressed, Blaise opted for some fruit and waited for Ines to arrive
Next up was breakfast and headed to the garage for a sausage bap and then made our way to Ines' flat. I chilled watching Lock, Stock and Two Smoking barrels whilst waiting for the women to get ready. They promised me they had a treat in store and it was on the roof.
We headed up was greeted by this amazing view:
I was pretty knackered so next step was home!
After chilling for a few hours it came to 10 and headed out stopping at Rooties to check out the dubstep set from Opiate and End and drum n bass inside from Glitch and Ian F. I snapped a few pix and then headed to Bigger than Barry..
Bloody hell, I've gone post mad....Barry pix soon come!
