Previously known as Soul Kaliba of the no longer existing Hip-Hop duo Rhoulette is about to drop his first LP on Tres Records "First Of All...". I've been waiting for this album for a good few months since it was recommended by Newman of Giant Panda in an interview I saw a while back, so I'm quite excited for it's drop IN STORES JULY 8TH!!! I've been fortunate enough to hear the album before it's release and I can honestly say right now that Hip-Hop is NOT dead(never was in my opinion) and anyone who brings up that argument after listening to this album can go suck on a maggot infested lemon!! There's some great production on the album, although I'm not sure who to credit for it as yet. Plus L.A's own Shawn Jackson and a mic go together like toast and jaffa cakes... it's a good combination!! Please folks, don't sleep on this guy... He's not another "let's keep '94 alive" MC, although some of the production is reminiscent of the great 90's era it still sounds new. Fusing those sounds with a balance of up to date, sensible and relevant lyrics relating to current times and culture it can't expect anything less than an outstanding album. He is GOOD and most importantly he is not about the common bullshit we are practically forced to listen to by the media giants!!
