Breakthru - Hair of the Dog and Afters

I wasn't too excited about this at the start of the night, arriving at Maisie's at around 10 and chilling for a bit to say bye before she made the trip back to Leeds (See you very soon)

Hold tight Frankie
Moved onto the med bar at around 12, the place was pretty busy, Dan B and Nursa were on the decks and the selection was deep, dark liquid rollers had the mood set, with Bassman on the mic it was a tad annoying but what can you do?

Chilled with Ed and Jon for a bit and soaked in the atmosphere

The fun began outside with Jon's amazing pack of Lucky Strike with the 3-way opening mechanism

More antics from the smokers outside

Came back inside for Skitty's set, selection was raw! deep nasty bass and techy beats had the floor moving, include myself and the g-men round the back and side who normally just stand there looking moody (you know the ones i mean)

There is no photographic evidence from Reaction and Opiates set cause they absolutely smacked it! skanked hard to this set, Reaction dropping Dillinja - Feel the Pain VIP and Opiate dropped Gridlocks new tune "Gutterfucker" things got heavy but Bassman had gone at this point so it wasn't "heavy heavy heavy heavy heavy" thank fuck!

The night drew to a close and security ushered everyone out of the venue, after milling around outside chatting aimlessly we decided to go on the hunt for food, with Mr. Spices not an option we headed for the burger van on Colmore Row. Armed with my camera there were photo opportunities galore!

Lights were on but no one was home

No Posters

Practice?

Shame Del Villaggio wasn't open

More lights were on but nobodies home

We arrived at the Colmore row burger van as they were shutting up and they had nothing fatty to satisfy our growing hunger, we wondered aimless once more before I suggested Cost Cutter, but realising there was a Select n Save closer we set off and what a decision that was, we walked in to find Pot Noodles and a hot water dispenser it was Heaven! 9Pence for hot water, we thought it was a fair price to pay. I've never seen one of these before and man it hit the spot!

What a night!
