Hott Date NYE 07

So the year has ended and it was time for the customary drinks and pats on the back. Werent really feeling goin out but as soon as we rolled up and everyone was present, all the ingrediants for a good night were in place.

The music wasnt bad....did the job anyway.

The countdown was fast approaching and there i am waiting for Cliff Richards to hit the mic but instead the DJ dropped Rage Against The Machine -'Justify'. WTF???
Best decision ever the place erupted into a massive mosh pit. I lost my hat, i dropped my camera and im sure i seen death at the bottom of it all.

The night came to an end at about 4 then we all headed to Cassies for a cheeky after party. Things got real messy and i think i passed out at about 10 only to wake to find i was sleepin in a big puddle of wine. Jeans and socks soaked through.....not impressed.

Decided to call it a day at around 1pm and proceeded with the taxi/train journey home.

In sumary this was a very messy night that finished a great year. Most of the people in these pics is the reason this years been so special so props to them.

Late Christmas Presents..

Alex just sent me pictures of a print he got done of one of my pictures, for his mums Christmas present... I'm proud of it..

The Big BNTL New Years Special.

As is customary, I suffered from last minute scepticism about my chosen location for last years transition into this year.. All I know is, one moment I was in bed at 9pm and not going out, 15 minutes later, I was at the off licence...

Arrived at Harrow-On-The-Hill with my printed directions (courtesy of Shan) in my hand.. The heavens partially opened, so I decided it was a good time for my second off licence visit, to bolster stock... got phone credit, and asked the guy in the shop to re-affirm my directions, on leaving the shop I ran into Alex (AE-CI; check the blog) and friends... And walked with them to the house party of choice..

Got there shortly after 10, it wasn't especially busy at this time, but for 10.. numbers were looking alright... As mid-night drew closer, revellers and thrill seekers alike filled the sizeable living room and the 3 minute late countdown to the near year commenced... encore'd with rapturous gun fingering... I didn't take pictures until 2008.. But when I did, I was more than happy with the outcome...

Night cap.

All-in-all, a very successful night, with many high points... one crashing low was that blonde girl who kept loudly saying she was from "KENT" and that she'd left her car in Garstone(sp?)..

I'd like to thank Jordan for providing the venue, I hope it wasn't left in too much of a state. Props to Viv for keeping the tunes consistently live...
