GOT GOT NEED....
...this Sunday we bring you the ultimate swapping experience.
GOT GOT NEED aims to provide you with the perfect enviroment to swap all your unwanted goodies.
We all own something we could do with getting rid of, but what if instead of gettting rid of said item you could swap it for the perfect gift to yourself.
Well GOT GOT NEED is the answer to all your swapping prayers. Each night we will give you the information of what we will be looking to swap, all you need to do is bring your loved-once-but-now-relegated item and come enjoy the endless fun of swapping all night till your heart is content.
To accompany this great concept we've also got an amazing venue with great music provided by your favourite disc jockeys.
What more could you want?

Inspired by or straight bitten?
So last week Alife released images of the new Alife x Barneys shoe. As I opened the email I wasn't expecting much but I did have hope.
What I saw left me confused? I thought straight away....Adidas Stan Smith (or even Nike Classic). So it got me thinking, have Alife/barneys been inspired by a truly great shoe in the Stan Smith or are they biting the head off a very popular shoe from Europe. From my knowledge I don't think the Stan Smith saw as much popularity in the US as it did here. Adidas went crazy with re-release after re-release a few years ago, i'm sure you can still rock up to any JD-Sports/Size/Footlocker and see a good few colourways of the Stan Smith.
Its not the first time this has happened Alife/Barneys released 'The Chaser' last year which again was too similar to the New Balance 576's. Alife werent the first and probably wont be the last brand to flirt between 'inspired' and 'biting'. Take most of the Bathing Ape shoe collection for example or even Billionaire Boys Club.
What I'm trying to get at is these questions...Is it okay for a brand like Alife to release a carbon copy silhouette? Am I entitled to feel disappointed? Because the fact is Alife will clean up with these shoes, people will cue for these and re-sell prices will no doubt be extortionate. Its not like Alife never get it right...the 'Everybody Mid' is a personal favorite.

Good and Plenty
Last night the legendary club night WORK IT brought us the launch of their new night 'Good Plenty'. The venue and music change seemed to do nothing to deter the revellers....wall to wall raving ensued. It was one of those nights where whoever you found yourself standing next to was your temporary dance/grind/bogle partner.
Excessive pictures were taken...
Started the night at 'Night of the Tiger' for some Kareoke, free Tiger beer and chill with some hot chick named Dave (who said BNTL boys dont get girls?)...
After that we headed over to meet Big Ron the East end Don and the ever entertaning Ben K at 512 for Good & Plenty...
Things started hotting up, I could smell it in the air. Getting caught off guard i was pushed out the way for what I thought was a fight, on closer inspection it turned out to be Big Ron and Ben K starting the most aggy mosh pit i've ever witnessed. (Peep the camera skills, catching Ben's money shot -bottom left)...
Shouts to everyone in attendance especially Sara, Rory, the absent TT, BNTL family, Alice, Nush, Charli, Issy, Sean, Laura, Tarik, Chalin, Nic, Tower, C.D.Arthur, birthday boy Santi and anyone I missed.
