In the up and coming weeks Adidas will be releasing various collaborative footwear with respected premium brand labels, one of those brands is Stone Island and they've chosen to work on a old classic the "samba". There a bit different with the zip up rather than a pair of laces but they would be a nice addition to anyone's collection regardless.
"Since the inception of the label in 1982, Stone island has been designing premium, top-line sportwear collections, with a high emphasis on function and innovative use of colour and materials.
The extreme originality of its design processes has led to an ever-expanding collection of unique, wearable design objects.
Ongoing research from the dedicated Stone Island colour lab ensures ground breaing exploration into garment dyeing techniques, fibres and textiles not previously seen in the clothing industry.
An unusual reworking of this classic by Stone Island featuring an asymmetrical zip fastening in place of the usual lacing which covers a dual branded tongue. The Stone Island logo is stitched in white on the left shoe with a leather and suede heeltab and custom sockliner design to polish off this brilliant take on the classic Samba"
No release date as of yet but they should be available soon over at Hanon.

The colourway is alright but that zip has ruined the shoe, they've tried to hard to be different and failed. Zips arent new on sneakers.
mmm, not to sure on the try hard thing. i think they could have done a lot better and tried a little harder really, with regards to there diverse skills of dying and treating various fabrics etc
but i agree on the zip up kinda kills it but.
but my main concern is how they expect people to fit them with a outfit? and the one label
one.
They look like something out of one of them free mags you get with the sunday newspaper, grandad style.
i'd only bang 5-a-side football in these. dead.
they look like fake predators. lool
Loved these when I got them, but he zip failed, got a refund, luck enough to get another new pair, but the zip failed on them too. Should have demanded a repair as is a legal right, but got refund. If you get them replace the zips, they will fail.
serious pair of chats
