ILL MANORS

Right.. This is the realest thing I've seen in a while from a mainstream artist. Visuals by the same folk behind Top Boy.

This makes so much sense and listening to an interview he gave to 1xtra I don't feel like its just bout making money etc. It's that Plan B that made tunes bout social issues like the murder of Damilola Taylor.

"If these kids in the estates are so stupid, how comes they can understand the art form of hip-hop and the rest of the world can't?"

More people that watch this and take it in the better.

New Balance Excellent Makers - Jay Electronica

This one completely slipped under my radar.
Nice to know the mans still alive. Still don't understand how he's managed to keep such a low profile in London town.

Azealia Banks - Hoxton Bar and Kitchen

Azealia Banks at the Hoxton Bar and Kitchen this past Sunday night was quite easily one of the best rap shows I've been to in a looooooong time.
The energy levels was on 100 from the lil lady, her stage presence alone was more than a lot and every song or cover was just on point.
That show put a lot of grown industry rappers to shame.
Still can't believe shes only 20, nor can I still believe I left happy with only 20 minutes of her on stage. Sh*t was BANANAS.

The audience was definitely not your normal hip hop crowd. On another note there wasn't a scenter in site!

I almost had to check a few folks in the building when her joke went down. Don't be put off by the blurry focus on this one, its a must watch.

My Kicks Is Crispy, Sippin' On A Formula 50.

With an effervescent flow and clearly Big Pun inspired multi-syllabic execution, I remember this Hispanic cat Termanology caught my ear in mid '06 with the DJ Premier laced heater 'Watch It Go Down'. It's always easy to distinguish dopeness when there's so many swag and forgettable rappers clogging Hip-Hop's artery.

Now both godly producer and promising MC are back up on this fresh banger, and the low-budget video is edited mad nice, visually referencing numerous legends to coincide with the wordplay and trademark Primo vocal scratches. Ill.
