One of the most unique skateboard teams around 'Shortys' - From same Transworld Mag as above I think.
Maybe it was just me but the early days of LRG looked very promising.

interesting story, while i was in cali last time i met this guy when i went to thsi hardcore show, thsi skater worked or owned church of skatan (look it up) we went back to his and he told us stories of goings chool with baptista and people
gave me and my friend some hoodies ns hit and wtached skate videos with us all night while people were outisde chilling
was a dope night.

I've never skated? okay so ten years of my life was not skating then, i featured in sidewalk when it was known as sidewalkSufer you twat, thats how long i go back.
My mate was out in SF in the early 90's skating bringing back boars and shit, thats how i know about shortys.
Skating has changed over the years, any idiot can see that.

i stopped skating mainly because i lost a pasion for it, skating used to be my thing, it was underground. If you wanted skate proddy you'd have to venture for it, these days you can't walk down the street without someone wearing skate clothing that don't even skate or prob don't even like or know about skating. When i was at school you'd get people look down on you cos you "skated" since leaving school "long time ago now" these same people are rocking skate shit.
You should enjoy skating and maybe its not about the image but what ever skating died for me, still summers on the way and there is a plaza being built near me, may get back on it.
